Reader poll winner, Spring 2022 | Grab bag edition

The votes for the most recent reader poll are in… and y’all chose the 1961 classic romantic comedy, Breakfast at Tiffany’s! To be honest, that final result kind of surprised me — An Extremely Goofy Movie (2000) was leading the way for awhile, and there was a tie at one point, but Breakfast at Tiffany’s squeaked out the win in the end by a single vote.

Here are the results on the poll:

Breakfast at Tiffany’s (1961) garnered 11 votes, while An Extremely Goofy Movie (2000 — sorry, not 1995, which was the year the original movie, A Goofy Movie, was released!) got 10 votes. The Time Machine remake (2002) came next with 6 votes, while Wonder Man (1945) and The Park Bench (2016) tied with 3 votes each. I was happy to see that every movie option received a few votes!

So I will be watching and analyzing the library scenes and reel librarian portrayal in Breakfast at Tiffany’s, and on May 11th, I will be back with a film analysis post for it. Stay tuned!
