I am very glad there was a positive reaction about this new monthly post in which I highlight the titles I have added to my various Reel Librarian lists during the past month. And bonus to this bonus post, I got lots more titles from readers this past month! 🙂
Bonus post! I am starting a new post on the first Wednesday of the month, a post to document the new titles of reel librarian titles I have added to the various movie lists on this site during the previous month. This came about because of a reader’s question and suggestion that I add this usability feature to my site, and it’s actually something I had been thinking about for awhile. So the titles I add to my lists and feature here will not necessarily be newly released films, but rather, titles that I am newly adding to this site. Does that make sense?
Since I regularly post on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of the month — if you haven’t already, you can sign up to receive all my new posts via email, on the right sidebar — I decided it would make the most sense to include an additional bonus post on the 1st Wednesday of the month, kind of like a fresh start and welcome to each month.
The titles below came from a librarian couple in Serbia, a husband-and-wife team who both read this Reel Librarians blog and are interested in movies and librarian portrayals. They contacted me and sent me a list of reel librarian films from former Yugoslavia and Croatia. It is a small world! ❤ (And stay tuned for next week’s post, when you will get to learn more about this lovely librarian couple!)
