‘Reel Librarians’ blog enters the tween years | 11th blog anniversary

Celebrating 11 years of Reel Librarian love!

Last year, Reel Librarians celebrated its first decade, and now we enter our tween years. 😉 Eleven years ago, on September 19, 2011, I published my very first post, “Where do I begin? A love story” on Reel Librarians. That post also explains the background about my decades-long interest in analyzing portrayals of librarians in film.

And why not help celebrate with a flashback to when I dressed up for last year’s Halloween as the Lego Librarian?! You can view more pics here in this Oct. 2021 post.

Dressing up as the Lego Librarian for Halloween last year! My coffee cup reads: "Marian retired. I'm in charge now!" (a reference to Marian the Librarian in 'The Music Man')
